The Money
  • Young Platform, a crypto exchange, raised €16m in a round led by Azimut and participated by Banca Sella, United Ventures, and Abalone Venture.
  • Naturbeads, a green tech startup, 🇮🇹raised €1.5m in a round led by Progress Tech Transfer, Eos Advisory, and Proionic GMBH.
  • IAG participated in a £5.4m round raised by Swoop, a UK-based fintech.
  • Wopta Assicurazioni, an insuretech company, launched, 🇮🇹announcing a pre-seed 3m round from business angels.
  • Medics, a “3D modeling for surgery” startup, 🇮🇹raised €2m from Equiter SpA, plus an additional €1m in debt from Intesa.
  • Euronext announced the acquisition of the technology businesses from Nexi’s capital markets activities, in a €57m full cash transaction. Nexi also sold EDIGard AS to AnaCap Financial Partners.
  • BOOM, a Milan-based visual content SaaS startup, acquired Berlin-based LemonOne for an undisclosed amount.
  • Lutech 🇮🇹acquired ARTIS Consulting for an undisclosed amount.
New Funds
  • 360cp announced a new €45m pre-seed and seed, pan-European fund.
Whoops! CDP did it again!
  • CDP VC 🇮🇹announced a new acceleration program, HabiTech, focused on proptech. CDP partnered up with Digital Magics, MassChallenge, COIMA, Ariston, and Novacapital.

  • Fintech startup Soldo 🇮🇹launched a zero-fee plan for Italian startups.
