News from the week: Newcleo raised more funding for its nuclear reactors. Serenis, Meeters, GrowishPay, Smace raised funding. Will Media was acquired by Chora Media, Silver Lake acquired Facile.it, Nextalia/Bain acquired Deltatre. New accelerators from Sella/dpixel and 34BigThings/OGR/Microsoft.

The Money
  • Newcleo raised €300m to continue working on its innovative nuclear reactors.
  • Serenis, a mental wellness startup, raised €2.6m.
  • Meeters, a travel community startup, 🇮🇹raised €500k from CDP VC in addition to the €1.9m raised 6 months ago.
  • GrowishPay, a fintech startup, 🇮🇹raised €850k and announced the acquisition of School Mission.
  • G-Rent SpA invested an undisclosed amount in Smace, a proptech startup.
M&A
  • Chora Media acquired Will media for €5.2m. An FT article with more info on the deal (paywall).
  • Silver Lake acquired a controlling stake in Facile.it.
  • Nextalia and Bain Capital acquired Deltatre, a leading sports tech and data provider.

  • Sella launched a program for Metaverse startups.
  • 34BigThings, OGR, and Microsoft 🇮🇹launched the second edition of the Quickload program for gaming startups.
