The Money
  • Gyala, a cybersecurity startup, 🇮🇹raised €5m in a round led by CDP Venture Capital (with the Evolution fund).
  • Macingo, a shipping marketplace, 🇮🇹raised €2.1m in a round led by CDP Venture Capital (with Fondo Sud).
  • IAG invested $350k in Connectly, a Delaware-based conversational commerce startup.
  • TPG completed a “significant investment” in MusixMatch, a music data platform.
M&A
  • Caffeina, a digital media company, 🇮🇹acquired Nois3, a service & experience design company.
New funds
  • The Italian government announced a new space tech fund, managed by CDP Venture Capital, to be called Italia Space Venture, with a target raise of €250m.
