I am Niccolò from Primo Ventures. Welcome back to my digest of the latest news from the Italian startup ecosystem.
In this issue: X-Farm, Lipogems, Neuranix, and others raised funding. IAG invested abroad (again). Intel to invest in Italy. Eniverse Ventures. YOLO went public.

The Money
  • X-Farm Technologies 🇮🇹raised a €17m Series B round led by Swisscom Venture.
  • Lipogems 🇮🇹signed a €10m club-deal investment led and “advised” by ABC Company, a consulting and permanent capital company.
  • Neuranix, a med-tech startup, 🇮🇹raised €2.1m in a seed capital round.
  • Tundr, a welfare-tech startup, 🇮🇹raised €1.7m in a pre-seed round, syndicated by a group of angel investors.
  • Finapp, an agri-tech startup, 🇮🇹raised €1.2m in a round led by Crédit Agricole Italia.
  • Frisbi, an energy startup, 🇮🇹raised €1m from Innovatec, a listed company.
  • IAG continues investing abroad: this time they announced the participation in a £2m round in BuiltAI, a UK-based AI startup for commercial real estate.
Corporate announcements
  • Intel is planning a $5b investment in an advanced semiconductor packaging and assembly plant in Italy.
  • ENI 🇮🇹announced the launch of Eniverse Ventures, a corporate venture builder.
  • YOLO, an insure-tech startup, 🇮🇹went public on Friday on the Euronext Growth Milan. At €3.77 per share, the company raised a little short of €10m for a ~€32m valuation.
  • SpazioDati, a startup owned by Cerved, 🇮🇹acquired Sinapta, a data startup, for an undisclosed amount.
