New funds and venture builders
  • The European Commission launched Cassini, a €1Bn investment program aimed at the space startups ecosystem.
  • Gellify 🇮🇹 launched “Venture Box”, a copycat venture builder.
  • 4Aim SICAF is a listed investment company focused on Italian micro-cap companies listed on the Euronext Growth Italian market. It also runs a fund dedicated to crowdfunding startups and SMEs: it announced the participation in the crowdfunding campaign of RedFish LongTerm Capital, another investment company. Interesting.
  • LVenture and Aeroporti di Roma announced the launch of the first “airport incubation program”, aimed at startups that can innovate an airport ecosystem.
Investing in Italy
The Financial Times published a special report about Investing in Italy. Not so much about Italian startups, rather about the Italian economy at large.
