The Money

  • Primo Space, a new fund by 🇮🇹 Primomiglio SGR SpA dedicated to the space economy, received a 🇬🇧 EUR 21M commitment from Cassa Depositi e Prestiti. This adds to the 🇬🇧commitment already made by the European Investment Fund a few weeks back.

  • EUREKA! Venture SGR, a VC specialized in advanced materials investments, 🇮🇹 teamed up with Materias to expand its due diligence and scouting capabilities.

  • Gellify, a venture accelerator & investor specialized in B2B startups, 🇮🇹 opens up an office in the Middle East.

  • Beintoo, an Italian startup specialized in mobile advertising and funded by Innogest Capital among others, 🇮🇹 has been acquired by Publitalia '80, a Mediaset Group company. Amount undisclosed.

The Innovators

  • Nuvolab has prepared 🇮🇹 a map of Italian innovators, including VC funds, incubators and accelerators.

  • Fabrick, a Banca Sella company, and Bandyer, a videoconferencing solution, 🇮🇹 teamed up to create Virtual Branch, a video-first banking channel for retail customers.
