Ciao, times are getting weirder and weirder. I do not believe this is the right space to touch upon the turmoils going on around the world, but let me share this thought: 2020 is absolutely nuts. Back to Italian startups, this week we had: a new VC fund and a few rounds announced, the season finale of the most important Italian startup docu-show, and Italian corporates going on an acquisition spree over domestic startup. Are our corporates finally deploying resources to acquire innovative companies? Or is this just another one-off occurrence in this crazy year? Finally, the TwiIS experiment evolves: I'm now adding to companies named in the text a link to their Crunchbase profile - just click on [cb]! I usually find myself crunchbasing any company I read about - I just figured out some of you might be like me. Now, on to the news!
