The Money

  • BionIT Labs, the developer of a fully adaptive bionic hand, raised €3.5m in a round led by CDP Venture Capital.

  • TOT, a fintech startup, raised €2m in a round led by Banca Sella.

  • Deesup, design furniture marketplace, raised €1.4m from LVenture Group, ALICrowd, Club Degli Investitori, Lifegate, and Doorway.

  • Neuron Guard, a medtech startup, 🇮🇹 raised €1.2m from CDP Venture Capital and other investors.

  • Endurance Group 🇮🇹 raised €500k from Innolva Spa and O2E srl. It also turned into a B-Corp.

  • Random Power, a cybersecurity startup, raised €200k from LIFTT.

  • Exor Seeds participated in the $15m round raised by Solidus Labs, a cryptocurrency risk-management service.

Liquidity Events

  • Genenta, a cancer gene therapy company, filed for an IPO on the NASDAQ.

  • Teamsystem announced the acquisition of 60% of Logical Soft, a software house specialized in the real estate and construction market.

  • Lutech acquired Infoedge, a system integrator in the finance&insurance markets.

  • Datrix acquired Adapex.

  • CFE Finance acquired 49% of Techstar srl, a developer of AR/VR solutions for commerce and industry.

New funds and venture builders

  • The European Commission launched Cassini, a €1Bn investment program aimed at the space startups ecosystem.

  • Gellify 🇮🇹 launched "Venture Box", a copycat venture builder.

  • 4Aim SICAF is a listed investment company focused on Italian micro-cap companies listed on the Euronext Growth Italian market. It also runs a fund dedicated to crowdfunding startups and SMEs: it announced the participation in the crowdfunding campaign of RedFish LongTerm Capital, another investment company. Interesting.

  • LVenture and Aeroporti di Roma announced the launch of the first "airport incubation program", aimed at startups that can innovate an airport ecosystem.
