Mirta, a B2B marketplace for luxury accessories, announced on Linkedin the closing of a €2.5m seed round.
Red Circle Investments invested an undisclosed amount in Bending Spoons.
Eye4nir, a spinoff of the Politecnico of Milan, 🇮🇹raised €600k from Eureka! Ventures and 360cp.
WeWear, a digital twin for clothing startup, 🇮🇹raised €1.5m.
WiseAir, an air quality monitoring startup, 🇮🇹raised €1m in a round led by Novum Capital Partners.
Cercaofficina.it 🇮🇹raised €1m from CDP Venture Capital and other investors.
IPOs, M&A, liquidity events
Genenta went public on the Nasdaq, selling 2.4m shares at $11.50 per share.
Sababa Security 🇮🇹went public on the Euronext Growth Italia market, raising €9m.
Moneyfarm acquired Wealthsimple's portfolio of 16.000 UK customers.
GO Sharing acquired Zig Zag Sharing.
BusForFun 🇮🇹 acquired GoGoBus' assets.
CY4gate 🇮🇹announced the acquisition of Aurora SpA, a holding controlling 8 cybersecurity companies, for €90m.
New funds & accelerators
CDP Venture Capital launched Forward Factory, a new accelerator for industrial innovation, alongside GELLIFY, Azimut Libera Impresa, Scm Group, and others.
The Italian Ministry for Economic Development 🇮🇹announced the creation of a €45m fund dedicated to AI and blockchain.
Neva, the VC fund owned by Intesa SanPaolo, launched Neva First Italia, a fund dedicated to deeptech and fintech investments.
