The tracker is based on the rounds I write about in the newsletter, with these rules: 1) It only accounts for Italian companies and 2) It only counts equity or quasi-equity rounds, no debt and no equity-free instruments -> e.g. Smartpricing is accounted for 11m, not 13m.
Thank you for the reply, which I think I can learn something from. Is the main source Crunchbase? And why did you chose rule no. 2? In my general, uneducated terms: in which way do you find following it paints a better (= more relevant) picture?
